Vinyasa-Style Yoga

Flow of breath with movement. Students are guided through 60 minutes of flow, which include a tapestry of the following:
• Mindfulness of breath and spinal alignment
• Integration (settle in and be present)
• Movement and twisting
• Grounding and balance
• Strength and core
• Stretch and release
• Deep rest (savasana)

A love for art and sense of connection led to teaching. That opened the door to a holistic health program where I set out to explore healing through many forms of art. While participating in the program, I was introduced to many ways of healing mind, body, and spirit. My curiosity for wellness grew, and I discovered yoga. When I started practicing more consistently, I experienced some very positive physical, mental, and emotional changes that led me back to a familiar path. I am now trained to teach yoga, and I am fortunate enough to use my creativity and compassion to share this practice with others.

 

Fun Hobbies: Yoga, art, music, watching my Kid’s play sports, travel, cooking, and appreciating nature.

 

Certifications: RYT 200, EnhanceFitness, SilverSneakers, Holistic Health Grad Certificate, 40 hrs mindfulness/habits training, AFEP (Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program).
